four-year study of classical ballet at the Conservatoire in Ostrava (CZ), short-term study of dance at the Theatre Academy in Helsinki (Finland), BA of choreography and MA of dance pedagogy at The Music and Dance Faculty of The Academy of Performing Arts in Prague,
two-year postgraduate study of Aplied Ethics at Charles Univesity in Prague.
Awards:
The winner of both prizes on the Czech Dance Platform “The Dance Piece of the Year 2011” and “The Dancer of the Year 2011”
The award holder of The City Prize (2021) for representing his hometown Třinec and for extraordinary merit in the field of culture, contemporary dance, choreography and dance pedagogy.
The award holder of The Special Acknowledgement (2021), by which The A. Bruckner University in Linz (Austria) honors his work as University Professor for Contemporary Dance and his extraordinary commitment to dance education oriented towards international standards
Membership of a jury:
In 2019, he was a judge at the Busan International Dance Competition in South Korea.
